How to go there? Many transportation in Thailand. Bus, train, plane, taxi,
tuk-tuk, minibus, motorbike taxi, songtaew are some of the possibilities
to travel around the country.

Trains are efficient, cheap and comfortable. You can
walk around, sit in the restaurant and when tired have a good night
sleep in a clean bed.

Buses, varying in 3 types,
1. VIP and
Air cond. Bus are usually blue and cover long distances (between
Bangkok and the provinces). Toilet inside. VIP buses have less seats and more space
than other Air cond. buses. They are quiet comfortable.
2.
Standard Bus:
Travel long distance as well, are usually orange. Less comfortable
but cheaper than Air cond bus. It's for the adventurous and a good
way to make friends. 3.
Local Bus for medium distances (provinces to district) Are
usually quiet remote and slow. But that's never for a long time.
Between 1 and 3 hours. From Southern Bus Terminal Bangkok
to Trang, every day, you have VIP bus at 7 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
and standard bus at:7 a.m., 7 p.m., 7.50 p.m. and 8
p.m.

in Trang at 0 7521 8718. From Trang, you can travel by
local bus to almost any provinces in the south. Buses are cheap but
quiet slow. If you have time, that's a great way to meet local
people. All Buses start from the main bus station (Bo Ko So) |

Minibus as a public transport are fast and
cheap. From Trang, they travel to other districts and to nearby
provinces. The driver wait until the vehicle is full (about 11
passengers) to start. To or from Trang to Nakhorn Sri Thammarat, Had
Yai or Krabi, it's about 80 Bahts per pers.
Private
minibus as we use for our tours are safe and comfortable because
we select them. |

Songtaew are pick
up or little trucks
arranged for passenger with seats in two rows (song taew). They
travel short distances, in town and to other nearby districts. The
fare is very cheap. |

|
Taxi
are old big cars. They works as the minibus. They usually put 6
passengers in it. 2 in the front and 4 in the back. |

|
Tuk-tuk
ride in town only and in the day time mostly. They are 15 Bahts per
person. Make sure about the fare before you go. Most of them are
very good men, but few of them try to over-charge tourist. |

|
Motorcycle are all over in town. They take you
anywhere in town for 10 Bahts for short ride, 15 bahts for longer
ride and 20 Bahts at night. 1 motorbike can take up to 2
passengers... or more?. |
