Khao Sok Riverside Cottages. The wooden chalets are built along a nice river. The bungalows are linked together with wooden bridges and the rooms are fully furnished. Very atmospheric and original. Each bungalow has either a large double bed or twin single beds, all with mosquito nets hanging from the ceiling. You may see or ear gibbons chanting in the morning and sometime hornbil are flying around while you have Dinner on the terrace situated over the river. |
Canoe and Tubing down the river is great fun. The 2 - 3 hours descent of this tropical stream is quiet an adventure. It is also a good way to observe the undisturbed wild life that lay all along the journey. Kiew, the guide will show you the way.

Cheow Lan Dam (Ratchaprapa Dam). Such a wonder. This lake is surrounded by amazing cliffs covered by wild vegetation. The long boat ride is not boring at all. Stop at a floating restaurant for lunch, swim, fish, and in the end of the lake, short walk in the jungle up a tropical waterfall. On the way back, pass by "Kui Ling" named kike this because of its ressemblence with a place in China. These rocks emerging from the lake are so amazing.

Programme Khao Sok - 4 jours
|
Day 1: Optional transfer from Phuket - Surat Thani or Krabi. (see informations below). Arrival at Khao Sok River side cottages. Relax and enjoy the great surrounding of this resort. Dinner and stay overnight at the resort

Day 2: Breakfast and about 2 hours elephant trekking (2 hours). Lunch at resort and in the afternoon, canoe or adventure Tubing (2 hours). Dinner and stay overnight at the resort

Day 3: Breakfast and car transfer to Cheow Lan Dam (Ratchaprapa Dam). Boat trip around this huge and scenic lake. Enjoy the fantastic scenery, swim, sightseeing, take the best pictures of your holiday. Lunch on a floating restaurant on the edge of the lake. In the end of the afternoon, ride back to the resort for dinner and one more night accomodation.

Day 4: Breakfast and jungle walk with an expert on wild animal and fauna. After lunch, check out and optional transfer to Phuket, Krabi or Surat Thani (see information below)
What to bring? Day bag, sun-cream, mosquito repellent, hat, camera, torch light, sandal or walking shoes, things for bathing (Short and T-shirt). |
